A Delicious Vegetarian Charcuterie Board
It’s hump day ladies and today I am sharing a Vegetarian Charcuterie Board. I know that sounds crazy, because we all envision a vast spread of meats and cheeses. That’s what a Charcuterie board is. We are primarily vegan in our house, but when we host parties, we will serve cheese because, who doesn’t love a good cheese board? Today, I am putting together a vegetarian charcuterie board, a platter filled with all kinds of goodies.
THE ULTIMATE VEGETARIAN CHARCUTERIE BOARD
Cheese
The focus of your Vegetarian Charcuterie board is your cheese. Variety is key, but always make sure you have a basic cheese every body loves. I included smoked Gouda, Goat Cheese with honey, Stilton mango ginger and sharp cheddar. There is something for everyone, even kids.
Crackers
Of course cheese needs crackers to serve up the cheese. Again, I like to give a traditional cracker, so I included golden rounds and a flat cracker. Other great options are the Milton’s crackers, or the gluten free nut thins. Try to get at least two different kinds of crackers.
Protein
Protein on this board is nuts and hummus. There are so many flavors of hummus now that the options are endless. If there is another protein rich dip you like, add it in. We love Bitchin’ sauce in our house, so you can be sure it will make it to our fancy snack tray one of these days.
Produce
Finish off your board with all the produce you want. Fruit and veggies, whatever you love. We stocked up on carrots, celery, strawberries and grapes. Everyone’s favorites.
Finally, when placing all of your food on your tray, spread it out. Fill in the spaces between the cheeses with all of the other goodies. Spread out your produce and crackers, add a variety of colors. Make it look tasty and pretty.
This vegetarian charcuterie board was served up for my end of year mimosa party which is also going to be such a great back to school party.
Be sure to check back next week because I will be sharing the perfect Mimosa Bar for any party.
