Carrie Bradshaw a Style Icon

Happy Birthday to Sarah Jessica Parker.  In light of a style icons birthday, I thought I would share my Carrie Bradshaw favorites today.  Sarah Jessica Parker (SJP) and Patricia Field created one of the most famous style icons when they created the wardrobe for Carrie Bradshaw.  Patricia Field winning countless awards for the costume design of Sex And The City and SJP bringing Carrie to life.  Her creativity drew in the audience bringing us to love this 30 something journalist.  We secretly (or not so secretly) wish we could stand on the set, wander through Carrie’s closet and sit in her apartment sipping cosmos with the cast of a perfect show.  Sex and the City inspired women to dress better, be spontaneous and enjoy life no matter how old you are.  Here’s to Carrie Bradshaw and to Sarah Jessica Parker for inspiring women and changing my life and passion for fashion.

Rare opportunity of an empty spot inside @disneyla Rare opportunity of an empty spot inside @disneyland and just wishing we could get a reservation to see the new Toontown
SoCal residents have you ever visited a mission? M SoCal residents have you ever visited a mission? Mission ⛪
Last week we visited our 3rd mission. This is taking it back to @oldmissionsb which we loved. My daughter was obsessed with learning about Karana from “Island of the Blue Dolphin” If your child is in 4th grade take them to check out a few missions. It’s a part of their curriculum and they can learn so much from the way the Spanish operated here in SoCal in the late 1700’s-1800’s. Of course not every detail of this settlement was positive, but it’s a great opportunity to have discussions and educate your children about the indigenous people and the Spanish settlers.
AND don’t forget 4th graders can get the national parks pass with Every Kid Outdoors. Link in stories.
