Chambray Top: The Weekly Style Edit

Happy Thursday and hello The Weekly Style Edit.  This week Lindsay from Middle of Somewhere and I are sharing our favorite chambray top.  I styled mine to share a easy way to transition your summer dresses into the fall.  It’s so easy to take your favorite summer dress, layer a striped or chambray top and throw on a pair of peep toe ankle booties.

I shot this look in Cabo to share as a seasonal transitional outfit, but I definitely did not wear this all day.  If you receive my emails, you had a style tip on how to transition your summer wardrobe to Fall.  If you don’t currently receive my emails, check it out.  I send a once a week newsletter with the current posts, style tips, sales, and so much more.  Also, when you sign up you get 50 style tips every woman should know straight to your inbox.

That’s a great chambray top – I love the color and the wash. I’ve had several over the years and I always end up getting rid of them because they’re too light or too faded in one area or another. This post is a reminder I need to get my current one out and start wearing it!

Rare opportunity of an empty spot inside @disneyla Rare opportunity of an empty spot inside @disneyland and just wishing we could get a reservation to see the new Toontown
SoCal residents have you ever visited a mission? M SoCal residents have you ever visited a mission? Mission ⛪
Last week we visited our 3rd mission. This is taking it back to @oldmissionsb which we loved. My daughter was obsessed with learning about Karana from “Island of the Blue Dolphin” If your child is in 4th grade take them to check out a few missions. It’s a part of their curriculum and they can learn so much from the way the Spanish operated here in SoCal in the late 1700’s-1800’s. Of course not every detail of this settlement was positive, but it’s a great opportunity to have discussions and educate your children about the indigenous people and the Spanish settlers.
AND don’t forget 4th graders can get the national parks pass with Every Kid Outdoors. Link in stories.
