Cozy Sweater: The Weekly Style Edit

Hi Lovelies.  Happy Tuesday.  I am so excited to start up The Weekly Style Edit linkup with Lindsay from Middle of Somewhere again.  We are each styling our own cozy sweater that can get you from day to night anytime.  Lindsay styled her spring colored striped sweater for a perfect day out.  I paired my cozy athletic sweater with leather shorts and thigh boots for a great date night look.

So I just bought this cozy sweater 3 weeks ago and it’s already sold out!! I can’t even believe it.  The sweater I linked to is a similar one from Zara with beaded detail.  I’m totally in love with this dressed up sweater.  A detailed sweater is such a versatile piece for your closet.  You can dress it up with a skirt and boots or dressed down with a pair of jeans and sneakers.  Another great option is to throw it over a fitted dress.  If you are lover of sweaters, you can see another one here.

Rare opportunity of an empty spot inside @disneyla Rare opportunity of an empty spot inside @disneyland and just wishing we could get a reservation to see the new Toontown
SoCal residents have you ever visited a mission? M SoCal residents have you ever visited a mission? Mission ⛪
Last week we visited our 3rd mission. This is taking it back to @oldmissionsb which we loved. My daughter was obsessed with learning about Karana from “Island of the Blue Dolphin” If your child is in 4th grade take them to check out a few missions. It’s a part of their curriculum and they can learn so much from the way the Spanish operated here in SoCal in the late 1700’s-1800’s. Of course not every detail of this settlement was positive, but it’s a great opportunity to have discussions and educate your children about the indigenous people and the Spanish settlers.
AND don’t forget 4th graders can get the national parks pass with Every Kid Outdoors. Link in stories.
