Go City Pass In NYC

Spread the love

Today, we are bringing back some old content from a trip we took two years ago. We wanted to put together the information to make the most of a Go City Pass In NYC. We purchased a New York Go City Pass to cover all of our excursions while we were in the city. Megan spent time researching what would be the best options and most affordable and this was the perfect way for us to see everything we wanted to see. We purchased a 4 item pass and they run sales all the time. So, as you begin to plan your trip keep checking for sales to purchase the pass that will fit your needs. Here are the four stops that we made on our Go City Pass In NYC for a three day adventure.

Statue of Liberty

We wanted the girls to experience all of the big museums and historical landmarks in NYC on this quick trip in NYC. At the top of the list for us is the Statue of Liberty. Statue of Liberty also includes Ellis Island which is the original spot that foreigners would enter the United States Of America. Entry to the park is by the ferry in Battery Park.

A few facts to know before you go. Arrive early, wear sunscreen, and if you want to visit lady liberty crown you need to purchase in advance. Certain attractions are not always available with a Go City pass, so be sure that you check what is included in your tickets before you purchase.

9/11 Memorial

This site is a must see for all!! Hearing the 911 calls and seeing the photos of this will change your life. The fire trucks that were destroyed, the foundation wall, the stairs that people fled through when escaping the twin towers. It’s so heart wrenching to see it all in person. Especially since our generation lived through this nightmare. We watched from our TV’s in the safety of our homes, as people fled these iconic buildings to try to survive what is one of the most horrific and deadly terrorist attacks in our nations history.

One World Trade

Building off the 9/11 Memorial head to One World Trade which is the new building that replaced the twin towers. the 360 degree views from this building are stunning. The entry and grand reveal of the room is just spectacular. There are so many buildings that have stunning views, but none of them have the story that One World Trade does.

Another iconic building that you can access with the Go City Pass NYC is the Empire State Building. Construction of the building began in 1930 and it was set to be the first building over a 100 stories tall. One year and 45 days later the building was complete at 102 stories. The building quickly became one of the worlds most profitable buildings. Now, you visit the building and see unique light displays throughout the year.

We recommend visiting the Empire State Building first thing so when you book your visit look for the earliest time slot available and book in advance.
