1. Book in Advance

Just like Disney World booking in advance is key to getting all of the extra benefits. When it comes to anything Disney you want to be one of the first ones to book your extras.

2. They have payment options

Don’t stress if the $3000 bill looks scary. You can make payments. The beauty of booking in advance is you have plenty of time to pay it off. You will have a down payment that will vary, but it looks like it’s about 20% down. They will give you a pay off date when you purchase and you just have it paid off by then,.

3. Do your Online Check-In

The day they open your online check-in do it. This will allow you to have more options for excursions, and on boat activities. They don’t allow you to book your excursions etc until you have finished your online check-in.

4. Book Your Activities

Book all of your activities as soon as you can. Be aware that if you book an excursion it will not allow you to book something on board that is within 90 minutes of the end time. They want to make sure that you have enough time to board etc. Finally, we went for the early dinner sitting. But, after calling and talking to an amazing cast member, we switched to late sitting. He informed me that there are plenty of other options to eat if your kids get hungry. The late sitting is ideal because you can do more activities and get your dinner in before you head to bed.

5. Book some Adult Only Time

Be sure to take advantage of the amazing kids club and schedule some adult only time. Maybe its a trip to the spa or dinner at one of the nice restaurants.

6. Register your children for Kids Club

You need to have your children registered for kids club in order for them to attend. If you do your online check-in registering your children is part of that process. Just be sure that you have it done before you leave.

7. Check Your Travel Documents

A few months check on your passports. Be sure that they will not be expiring close to your travel dates. If so I recommend renewing them before your trip. You just never know what can happen and the last thing you want is an emergency situation your passport expires. Also, don’t forget the insurance on your trip!! Weather and health is always unpredictable and you don’t want to miss out on your cruise because you didn’t by the insurance.

8. Print All Paperwork

They have some documents you need to print and they also send you luggage tags. Keep everything together and bring it with you.

9. Be Flexible

Be flexible on your travel dates. Cruise pricing can vary from week to week. So, be sure to look at all of your options. Check flights, rental cars and other travel expenses that might be included.

10. Unsure? Call.

I had a few questions in regards to booking a Disney Cruise and called. Every time I call Disney they are so helpful. I have never had a bad experience with a cast member. They are always so helpful. I had a nice gentleman spend 45 minutes telling me all the tips and tricks to make our cruise more enjoyable.
