Guide To The Hampton’s

Spread the love

Hi Lovelies.  We are home for a beautiful trip in the Hampton’s.  We visited Montauk which is the far east point of Long Island.  We loved our trip here.  The scenery was gorgeous and it was a great family trip to the beach.  We stayed at Montauk Blue Hotel.  Which is a small boutique hotel.  It was nice, the staff was great and we stayed during summer on a weekend and they still had reasonable rates.  It’s not a four seasons, but the prices around the Hampton’s for a 5 star hotel can get upward of a thousand dollars.  So, we had to go with a more budget friendly option.  I think the way to go here is a AirB&B.  There are a ton of great options out there.  This guide to the Hampton’s is just a small peak at all that the Hampton’s has to offer for families.

I don’t do seafood, but the hubs was impressed.  The vibe and the atmosphere were on point at Gosman’s.  The sunset was gorgeous.  We hung out after dinner and listened to the music they had playing on the stage behind the restaurant.   Our fun was cut short because a little one fell and scratched up her knee.  So, we headed out, but not with out hitting up the Ben & Jerry’s across the street.  Be prepared to wait though. The line was pretty long.

Searching for Seashells

After living on the west coast and east coast… I must say the east coast seashell selection puts California’s to shame.  So, be sure to take a walk on the sand and snag some seashells.

Montauk Lighthouse

At the far eastern points stands the most beautiful lighthouse I have ever seen.  The greenery that surrounds it is just stunning.  There are trails down to the beach and just gorgeous views.  Trust me when I say the Hampton’s beaches actually gave San Diego beaches a run for their money.  The water, the shoreline everything about it, is just perfect.

On your way out of town grab lunch at Lunch, Lobster Roll.  Fresh Lobster Rolls that are to die for.  Yes, quote from my husband.  I wouldn’t touch lobster if you paid me.  LOL.

If you have been to the Hampton’s I would love to hear your recommendations.  Hopefully, we will be out here again soon.
