Off The Shoulder Ruffle Top

Happy Monday.  Today’s outfit is perfect for a night out, with this black, off the shoulder, ruffle top and destroyed jeans.  If you have been following along for a while, you may have noticed I love pairing girly pieces with the a little edge.  So pairing this top with the destroyed denim was a perfect way to style this top.

I kept the accessories simple because I wanted the top to be the focus.  I have always stuck with silver accessories with black, but I’m loving the black and gold combo.  This outfit can be worn for a date night, or night out with the girls.  I thought it would be fun to wear it to a salsa club.  I guess the shirt just reminds of salsa dancing.

Let’s talk about the open shoulder trend.  Are you loving it?  As you can tell, this little fashion blogger totally is.  I feel like my shoulders and upper body are my asset.  So, I love to show them off.  Knowing your asset is key to dressing.  Of course, what you feel is your asset may not be what someone else sees as your asset.  You need to focus on what you love about yourself.  With the open shoulder trend, it’s been really easy for me to focus on my asset.  I am just filling my closet with these styles.  Think about it, what is your asset?  Are you dressing to emphasize it?  If not what can you do differently?

Rare opportunity of an empty spot inside @disneyla Rare opportunity of an empty spot inside @disneyland and just wishing we could get a reservation to see the new Toontown
SoCal residents have you ever visited a mission? M SoCal residents have you ever visited a mission? Mission ⛪
Last week we visited our 3rd mission. This is taking it back to @oldmissionsb which we loved. My daughter was obsessed with learning about Karana from “Island of the Blue Dolphin” If your child is in 4th grade take them to check out a few missions. It’s a part of their curriculum and they can learn so much from the way the Spanish operated here in SoCal in the late 1700’s-1800’s. Of course not every detail of this settlement was positive, but it’s a great opportunity to have discussions and educate your children about the indigenous people and the Spanish settlers.
AND don’t forget 4th graders can get the national parks pass with Every Kid Outdoors. Link in stories.
