Plaid Shirt Dress And Jeans

Spread the love

Hi Lovelies. We have made our journey from Las Vegas to Park City. It was such a beautiful trip and the girls had so much fun in Vegas. When we arrived in Park City, we headed out to see old town.  I wanted to keep it simple and styled this plaid shirt dress and jeans.  You can see another way I styled this dress here.  I love that this dress can be left open and worn over jeans.  Even though it’s from last year, you can still find similar styles all over the place.  I definitely recommend picking up something like this.  It can be worn over shorts too.  It really is a year around piece.

So far, our vacation is off to a great start. I can’t wait to share more of our adventures. I just have to share this fun little story from our road trip. On our drive, we stopped in Zion National Park and hiked in to Kolob canyon. It was a great day and perfect way to break up our 5-hour drive. While we were hiking, we saw a baby falcon lying on the ground struggling. He seemed like he was overheating and tired. We kind of chased him into the shade and gave him some water. While we were giving him water, he literally jumped onto my husband’s shirt and wouldn’t let go. We didn’t know what to do. So we just kind of walked with him on my husband for a while. We kept giving him water until he seemed to perk up a bit. He started to get a little excited like he wanted to fly away, so we pried him off of his shoulder and sat him down. After a few little hopping struggles to fly, he took off into the canyon.   It was amazing. The girls were so concerned. After we let him go, we finished our hike and got in the car to finish our drive.
