Spring Break Travel Ideas

Hi Lovelies.  Happy Monday with spring break a few short weeks away, I thought we could talk about some great spring break travel ideas for the family.  There is something for everyone in almost every part of the country.  I did not include anything in the northern part of the country because let’s be real it can still be super cold.  So, I don’t know about you, but I feel like spring break should not include heavy coats and snow. LOL.

Spring Break Travel: Great Wolf Lodge

Great Wolf Lodge has several destinations across the country.  The beauty of Great Wolf Lodge is the weather outside does not matter.  This indoor water park is the perfect spring break travel idea for the whole family.  Enjoy a beer or a glass of wine and then float along the lazy river.  Have dinner and a variety of other activities at the end of your day visit.  The perk the only people in the water park are the people staying in the hotel.

Spring Break Travel: Palm Springs, CA

The perfect white bell sleeve top with jeans and a velvet purse. - Spring Break Travel Ideas by popular Los Angeles blogger The Fashionista MommaA great getaway in the cooler months because summer is crazy hot in Palm Springs.  There is great shopping in Palm Dessert and lots of cool things to see.  Spend the day at the pool or at the living desert zoo.  Take a trip on the aerial tram take the drive to the date farm or Salvation Mountain.  It’s just a great place to relax enjoy some good food and family time.

Spring Break Travel: Nashville, TN

I gotta be honest.  Nashville is probably one of my favorite cities we have visited so far.  I have been pushing to go back.  When we went last time my husband worked the whole time and he didn’t get to see anything with us.  The weather might be a bit chilly anywhere from 50 to high 60’s in spring, but that’s still enjoyable.  Enjoy all the southern history and country music.  It’s just an all around family friendly town with a ton to do.

Spring Break Travel: San Diego, CA

Spring Break Travel Ideas by popular Los Angeles blogger The Fashionista Momma

Well this is my hometown and a great destination all year around.  Spring break travel to San Diego is always a good idea.  With an amazing zoo, Balboa Park, Sea World easy access to Disneyland and Legoland, San Diego is the perfect family destination for spring break.  The weather is always beautiful and even on the cold days you can get away with just a light jacket.

Spring Break Travel: Austin, TX

Spring Break Travel Ideas by popular Los Angeles blogger The Fashionista Momma

Alright, so the last two I haven’t actually been to.  But, they are on my list of places to visit for Spring Break so here we are.  Starting with Austin, Texas.  I love the people from Texas and Austin is a little hipster fun art town.  Well, at least that’s what I have been told.  We will definitely be making our way there soon.  If you have been and have advice please leave it in the comments.  I would love to get recommendations.

Spring Break Travel: Santa Fe, NM

This is also on my list of places to visit.  Either for Spring break or for their hot air balloon festival in October.  My good blogger friend Lindsey from Middle of Somewhere lives in Albuquerque and we always talk about doing a trip to Santa Fe.  I think it’s time.  Spring is a great time to visit when it isn’t too hot.  For me our trip would probably include a lot of outdoor activities and art museums and of course a lot of food. LOL.

First, i love your fashion. Second, I love the list of idea where to go. I have been to your hometown San diego Balboa Park and took pictures with all the museums and beautiful building. Lovely places and can’t agree more about the beautiful weather. Also I enjoy Palm Springs so much, especially the iconic Palm trees and not forgetting the shopping & the desert hills at Palm Springs too

I’ve heard a lot of amazing things about Great Wolf Lodge (I have a couple cousins who take their kids to the one in Niagara Falls all of the time), but for me, I think the Grand Ole Opry would be an amazing destination! It’s a place that I’ve always wanted to go!

Traveling with children can be tricky, But I can personally say that The Great Wolf Lodge is beyond amazing. I loved it just as much if not more than my kids did.

Great Spring Break travel list, I would definitely go to Austin, Texas since a friend of mine live there. She told me that the best roasted beef can be found in Austin. I would probably go next at Palm Spring for a fabulous shopping.

What an amazing compilation of destination ideas for spring break. I and my husband were shortlisting our options for the spring break, and we have San Diego, CA on the list, great to have more options. My kids would love to visit a zoo and sea world in San Diego I am sure.

Have you been to Ensenada? What’s your favorite spots? We had a great time on our Ensenada excursion on our Carnival cruise. Including rain, pina coladas, La Bufadora and wine tasting at Santa Tomas winery. If you are in SoCal I recommend making your own way across the border to Ensenada.
