3 Must Have Summer Trends: The Weekly Style Edit

Spread the love

Hi Lovelies.  Happy Thursday.  Lindsay and I both have had crazy lives and currently could not get our acts together to get photo shoots of a new outfit done.  So, for this week we are talking about the must have summer trends.

3 MUST HAVE SUMMER TRENDS YOU NEED TO OWN

Bright Colors

Bold reds, oranges, yellows and green are all the rage this season.  Even mixing bold color combinations is a new way to mix color into your wardrobe.  I’m currently loving the red, orange and pink trend.  It’s definitely a summer must have trend for me.  I tend to stick with grey, black and white.  So a bold color combination is a fun adventure.

Stripes

Everything from a wide stripe to pin stripe is in this season.  Vertical stripes on dresses and skirts, striped jackets, you name it.  Stripes are a great way to mix in color and patterns.  They pair so well with other patterns.  Personally, I have never been a big stripe person, but I am so excited for all of the vertical stripes.  They tend to make you look leaner and are just more figure flattering.

Tiny Bags

I know all the husbands are like what is the point of that bag, that you can’t fit your wallet or cell phone in.  Aren’t they the cutest things ever?  Tiny bucket bags, and straw bags, you can give me any and all of them right now.  I just picked up the cutest beaded Sole Society bag from my Stitch Fix box.  This is probably my summer trends top pick.
