Round

First lets talk about the shape of a round face.  A round face has soft edges, a slight undefined chin, and similar width in the forehead, cheek bones and chin. A perfect pair of sunglasses for a round face, will have angles and be wider than your face.  You want to look for more square or rectangle frames.

Inverted Triangle/Heart

An inverted triangle or heart shaped face has a broad forehead and pointed defined chin.  Metal frames or frameless sunnies are a great choice.  You want to make sure that they are not wider than your temples.  This will help to balance the widest part of your face.

Square

A square face has a defined Chin with broad forehead and checkbones. Counter the sharp details of your face with round or oval frames.  This will soften your strong features and create balance.  Try to avoid frames that are heavy and thick.

Oval

A oval face is considered to be the most balanced and can wear almost any style.  The only recommendation is you may want to avoid geometric designs.  This is my face shape and I rock full circle sunglasses all the time.   It just depends on if you feel confident enough to go big.
