Hi Fashionistas. I am so excited to start another body shape series post, covering the best dress for an apple shape. We can all go on the hunt for the perfect dress, but we are all built differently. So, in todays post I want to focus on the styles that will work for an apple shape.
Wrap Dress
Get ready because the wrap dress is going to be on every single one of this body shape series. It truly is a dress for everyone. When DVF created this dress she changed the wardrobes for women every where. For an apple shape my only recommendation is try to find a wrap dress that avoids ruffles on the bottom half of the dress. This will help to avoid bulk around the midsection.
Empire Waist
The empire waist dress has a high waist line underneath the bust. This is a great option for an apple shape body because it flows away from the midsection of the body.
A-Line
An a-line dress is another option for an apple shape because it flows away from the body. Giving you some definition at the high point of your waist and then giving movement through the midsection.
Shift Dress
The shift dress is straight through the waist. Which will allow you to mask a wider waist line. This is one of my favorite cuts, they tend to be very comfortable and great for the summer season.
