The Ultimate White Manicure And How To Make It Last

Hi Lovelies. So, here is the scoop I have two favorite manicures. The dark colors in the winter and bright white in the summer. THE PERFECT WHITE MANICURE:
Nail Prep for your White Manicure
This is different for everyone. The most important prep is trimming, filing and buffing. I like to keep my nails short. I feel like it makes the polish last longer. Maybe it’s all in my head. LOL. But when my nails start to grow out, they always chip. Get your nails perfectly smooth and apply an oil or lotion to moisturize.
Clean
This is going to make or break your white manicure. You always want to wash your hands with soap and water before applying your nail polish. You don’t want any dust particles, or oils on your nails.
Long Lasting Polish
No one wants to have to re-do their manicure after two days. CND™ VINYLUX™ requires no base coat and lasts up to 7 days. It’s a super easy two step process. Apply your color coat, I’m a two coat girl (and it’s what is recommended), and then your top coat. Make sure you always get the edges. I like to run the brush along the tip of my nails for a little added protection.
White Manicure Drying Time
Always make sure you have plenty of time to dry your white manucure. Give yourself at least 8-10 minutes for the polish to fully dry. This is especially important with a white manicure. White polish will show every imperfection, so you have to make sure you start with clean nails and end with extra dry time.
