Trend Alert

Hi Lovelies.  I’m still trying to get back into my routine, now that we have settled in our house.  Which means, Trend Alert and Currently Loving coming back in full effect.  For December, my trend alert focuses on the perfect pieces for your holiday outfit.  What are some of the great must-haves for your holiday wardrobe?  The perfect item that you can wear to Church on Sunday or to your families holiday dinner?  Or maybe even out to your holiday party.  These are my top picks that will help you complete your wardrobe this month.

Buffalo Plaid

holiday style

The perfect buffalo plaid sweater.  It can be worn for a busy day with jeans and boots and then transitioned to night, paired with a skirt and heels. I love that you can find it in red, black and white, and grey and white.  Buffalo Plaid is just festive and fun and must for December.

Fringe Skirt

fringe5

A perfect holiday look can start and end with a fringe skirt.  The black fringe skirt is every where this season.  It can be paired with almost any top.  I love the sweater and fringe skirt look for a holiday party.  Choose a classic pump or pair it with a strappy sandal and you are rocking it.

Wine

sweater and a hat

For once I am talking color not drink.  Wine colored anything is totally perfect this season.  From your nail polish, to your shirt, to your lips.  Wear it however you like.  I love the wine colored boots, ankle booties and lace up peep toe shoes.  The options are endless in wine.

Fur Bag

More specifically a fur clutch.  Finish your outfit with the must for this season a fur clutch.  Mine is wrapped under the Christmas tree or I would totally be sharing a photo right now.  I can’t wait to get my hands on it and style it.  A fur clutch is the perfect holiday accessory.

What are your musts trends this month?  The one you can’t wait to try?

Have you been to Ensenada? What’s your favorite spots? We had a great time on our Ensenada excursion on our Carnival cruise. Including rain, pina coladas, La Bufadora and wine tasting at Santa Tomas winery. If you are in SoCal I recommend making your own way across the border to Ensenada.
