Window Pane Plaid

Hi Lovelies and Happy Halloween.  Today’s look is from this weekend.  The family and I went to the Harbor for dinner and play time.  I wore this fabulous window pane plaid top from Melody Lane.  I have been eyeing this pattern for a few weeks now and thought it would be the perfect piece to pick up from Melody Lane.

  We had such a great night.  The girls played at the playground and we watched the sea lions play in the harbor.  It’s one of their favorite things.  They stand on the shore barking at all the sea lions playing on the docks.  They spend their time trying to get the sea lions to swim over to them.  It cracks me up.  I could watch them all day.  Such a mom moment, right?  Watching your children be kids.  Watching their imaginations go wild.  I love it.  I love our weekends together, but I always feel like they go to fast.  I always think about how I wanted to do one more thing with them.  Get in a hike, build a bigger fort.  Time is just going by too fast.  It makes me feel old, it makes me feel like before I know it, they will be in college and gone out of our house.  These moments won’t last forever and any mom knows what I am talking about.
