Hi Lovelies.  We are getting down to the last two body shapes for the best shorts in our body shape series.  Today, I am talking about the best shorts for a rectangle body.  The key to shorts for a rectangle is belts, proper fit and details in the right places.  Here are the top things to do if you have a rectangle body shape.

Belt

A rectangle would benefit from adding a belt to their look.  This helps to cinch in the waist and give attention to the waist line.  You don’t want a ton of bulk so avoid added fabric and anything else that will add bulk.

Details

Adding details to the hips and shoulders will help to balance the body.  Pocket details, buttons, or destroyed denim and anything that can bring attention to the hips.  Scalloped edges and pleats are another great way to give the illusion of of an hourglass shape.  Finally, printed shorts are another great option.
