Ladurée
This is my second favorite macaron and I have had a lot of macarons. I know this may seem like just another influencer eating macarons, but I actually really do love them. I am not a big sweets person and a macaron is the perfect treat. My first pick is in LA, but is currently closed. Ladurée is a close second runner up and they are VEGAN! Everything at Ladurée by Matthew Kenney.
Holy Roly Ice Cream
Holy Roly is a great spot and is fun to watch them make your ice cream. They create cute little rolls and serve it up with toppings. I love their vegan options and the kids were big fans of the whole experience.
Milk
You better be ready for an oversized macaron ice cream sandwich from Milk. They are so good. Some of them can be really sweet, but they are delicious. I love the Red Velvet and the girls loved the fruit cereal option.
Susie Cakes
We are lucky that there is a Susie Cakes in Carlsbad as well and you can find unique flavors with every season. I’m obsessed with Susie Cakes so much that I came home from LA and went and bought more from the Carlsbad location. They have flourless options and their cupcakes are too die for. If you have a chance to try the Pineapple Upside Down Cupcake it is a must.
Dolly Llama
Dolly Llama has milkshakes bubble cones, waffles, and mini waffle ice cream sandwiches. We went with a kid size Bubble and it was amazing.
