Beach Must Haves

Hi Lovelies.  I hope you are all having a beautiful week.  I am traveling to Southern California as we speak.  I wish I could say it was for fun but, my uncle is very sick and unfortunately it will be a very quick trip, then back to NYC.  Last week, I guest posted over at Schoolyard Style and shared my top trend picks for summer.  You can check it out here.  So, I thought for this week I would share my Beach Must Haves that will have you ready for the beach and your vacation.

Via Spiga Idoma Rose Gold Sandal – Rose Gold is the color of the season.  These sandals are perfect for your beach vacation.  Adding the it color of the season and a little sass with the gladiator look and fun style.

Cabana Stripe Towel – A quality towel is a must for your beach bag.  I love the classic Cabana stripe in almost any color.  You can go with hot pink or turquoise stripe for a color packed beach bag.

Honest Sunscreen – A good, all natural, sunscreen without parabens and other toxic chemicals is a must.  Your skin is your biggest organ, so you want to treat it well with clean and natural products.

Victoria’s Secret High Waist Lattice Bathing Suit – High Waisted bathing suits were popular in the 60’s and they are coming  back with a punch.  I love this take on the classic bathing suit with the added lattice detail and simple black color.

Tory Burch Straw Purse – Everyone needs a good straw purse.  This is something that you can use for years to come.  Find a purse that is sturdy and made well.  Just a tip, check Nordstrom Rack, TJ Maxx and Marshall’s before dropping the big bucks on a designer bag.  I see Michael Kors and Kate Spade straw bags there all the time.

Nanette Lepore Caftan – A fun, bright caftan is a must if you go with a solid black bathing suit.  However, if you are wearing a bright colored bathing suit, tone it down with a light weight solid caftan.  If you were lucky to snag the Lily Pulitzer for Target caftan, you are one lucky girl.  I snagged a returned one two weeks after the launch and I am so excited.  It will definitely hit the beach in Cancun.
