Happy Thursday. End of August is upon us and we are getting ready to head back to school. We are taking our summer vacation this weekend and then it’s hard return back to reality. The harsh reality that is school pickup and drop off. It is always hard to get back into that early morning routine, however I am so thankful to get my butt back into the yoga studio. It has been a long summer with very little yoga. Which has made my cranky and not the best mother. But, I digress that’s a whole other post for you. Today, Lindsay and I are sharing black dresses for The Weekly Style Edit.
I styled this black lace dress for the welcome event at TBSCon in Atlanta last week. It was so much fun getting to spend time with friends. It was the first time that Lindsay and I have really had an opportunity to hang out which was awesome. We have been long distance blogger friends forever.
This black lace dress is an all around fabulous dress and was perfect for the opening cocktails. It can be dressed up for a wedding or dressed down like I did with boots. This black lace dress is great for all year too. It’s light and short for the summer months but would layer great over tights and a pair of dress over the knee boots.

Such a beautiful feminine look, yet a little edgy too with the boots and the black lace. Love it. My kids have their first full day back today and I must say, WOW… it is so quiet. I am a little excited to get back into a regular routine again, too. The summer was fun, though and I agree that the early mornings are hard.
