Currently Loving Under $100

Hi Lovelies,  It’s that time of the month and no I am not talking about that “visitor” we all hate.  I am talking about the monthly Currently Loving.  It’s summer, summer, summer time and all I can think about is beaches, cutoffs, longer days, sunshine and margaritas.  Just writing this has me smiling from ear to ear. I am so happy to be living closer to the beach here in NYC.  We will be spending a lot of time there this summer.
This month, I wanted a currently loving under $100.  All of these summer ready items are under $100 and perfect for long summer days.

Wayf Blouson Midi Dress – This dress is perfect for summer and for almost every body shape.  It hugs in all the right places and flows away from the body.

Boxy Cropped Tee – I’m visioning this top over a pair of cutoffs or a cute a-line skirt.  This top is better for an apple shape.  I plan on throwing it over a pair of cutoffs and my bathing suit so, I’m not to worried about my waist definition.  It’s more about comfort and loose clothing with this one.

X Cuff – A simple accessory that can be worn with anything.  It’s just enough for summer days.

Lucky Brand Cutoffs – I love cutoffs for summer and these are a long enough for us all of us, stylish moms.  I don’t know about you, but I don’t want to be walking around with my cheeks hanging out.

Adidas – These are great for the days at the beach, that you will be doing a lot of walking.  I remember these from my middle school days and it’s one thing I am happy to see back in style.  I love them.

Urban Originals Backpack – I have been wanting a backpack for days in the city and this one is perfect.  It’s stylish and has two pockets to sepeprate out my personal belongings from all the kid stuff I am carrying.  I will be using this for beach days and city days.

This sums up the May edition of Currently Loving Under $100.  Check back the last week of every month for a new edition of this series.  What are items on your must list for summer?

Rare opportunity of an empty spot inside @disneyla Rare opportunity of an empty spot inside @disneyland and just wishing we could get a reservation to see the new Toontown
SoCal residents have you ever visited a mission? M SoCal residents have you ever visited a mission? Mission ⛪
Last week we visited our 3rd mission. This is taking it back to @oldmissionsb which we loved. My daughter was obsessed with learning about Karana from “Island of the Blue Dolphin” If your child is in 4th grade take them to check out a few missions. It’s a part of their curriculum and they can learn so much from the way the Spanish operated here in SoCal in the late 1700’s-1800’s. Of course not every detail of this settlement was positive, but it’s a great opportunity to have discussions and educate your children about the indigenous people and the Spanish settlers.
AND don’t forget 4th graders can get the national parks pass with Every Kid Outdoors. Link in stories.
