Fall Skin Care Must Haves

Hi Lovelies.  Coming up with another beauty post for this Wednesday.  This week we are talking about fall skin care.  These are my must have products for the fall season.  The weather cool downs, it gets dry and you need that extra moisturizer to keep your skin young and youthful.  You want to be sure that you are removing the dry skin and getting lots of moisture on your skin.

Fall Skin Care

The Fashionista Momma shares all of her fall skin care must have products.

Clay Mask

A clay mask is a great way to prep your skin before you do a deep moisturizer.  During these cool dry months, getting rid of that dead dry skin is so important to keeping your skin looking young and glowing.  If you tend to have extremely dry skin look for a gentle clay mask, that contains some nourishing oils to keep your skin silky smooth.  This Colleen Rothschild Detox Mask is amazing!! It will leave your skin so soft!!

Moisturizer

Be sure that after you exfoliate you use a deep moisturizer.  You want to give your self plenty of vitamin E to protect from the dry weather.  I like to use a oil during the fall and this Puristry Restorative Facial Oil is amazing.  I have a few moisturizing products that you can try they are all light weight and don’t leave a greasy texture.

Weekly  Mask

Give yourself an added boost with a weekly mask.  I always start with my acid face wash and then apply my mask immediately.  Take your time and let your skin soak up all the goodness of a moisturizing mask. I love this Derma MD Avocado Pumpkin Mask for the dry months of fall.  It leaves my skin extra soft.

Lip Products

Some of us tend to neglect our lips.  We do all of this extra work for the rest of our face and do nothing for our perfect pouts.  Thanks to Physician’s Formula I have found the perfect lipgloss for Fall.  This Healthy Lips Lipgloss has a ton of nourishing ingredients and leaves my lips feeling soft.  Great for every day wear.  Another great way to give attention to your lips is to simply apply coconut oil at night.  This will help to keep the dry skin at bay.

Facial Roller

I know some of you may not believe in facial rollers and maybe they really do nothing.  But, I’ll tell you I love them.  It feels so good on my face and I have a lot of puffiness under my eyes during the fall.  I have terrible allergies and the pressure from the roller feels amazing.  So, fall season comes around and I am all about this little contraption.

I still need to try the detox mask! I wasn’t a fan of the L’Occitane gel but you know I love me some Healthy Lip!

Rare opportunity of an empty spot inside @disneyla Rare opportunity of an empty spot inside @disneyland and just wishing we could get a reservation to see the new Toontown
SoCal residents have you ever visited a mission? M SoCal residents have you ever visited a mission? Mission ⛪
Last week we visited our 3rd mission. This is taking it back to @oldmissionsb which we loved. My daughter was obsessed with learning about Karana from “Island of the Blue Dolphin” If your child is in 4th grade take them to check out a few missions. It’s a part of their curriculum and they can learn so much from the way the Spanish operated here in SoCal in the late 1700’s-1800’s. Of course not every detail of this settlement was positive, but it’s a great opportunity to have discussions and educate your children about the indigenous people and the Spanish settlers.
AND don’t forget 4th graders can get the national parks pass with Every Kid Outdoors. Link in stories.
