Halter Neck Dress: The Weekly Style Edit

Happy Thursday.  The Weekly Style Edit is here and this week Lindsay and I are sharing our Mother’s Day Style.  I styled this cute halter neck dress for our family trip to the Happy Place.  It was a perfect way to enjoy all the bright colors of the Happy Place. This fabulous halter neck dress is so comfortable, and is so bright and fun.  It’s perfect for the end of spring and all the way into summer.  It can be worn to the beach with sandals or dressed up with a heel and a white leather jacket.

I’m sure you all have seen The Happy Place all over social media.  It was such a fun day.  Several rooms filled with amazing photo opportunities.  There are also tasty treats throughout.  Including candy, cake pops, and before you leave you can enjoy a unicorn sundae or rainbow grilled cheese.  I love these memories that I get to make with my little family.  They even made an appearance in today’s post in their super cute skirts from H&M.

Rare opportunity of an empty spot inside @disneyla Rare opportunity of an empty spot inside @disneyland and just wishing we could get a reservation to see the new Toontown
SoCal residents have you ever visited a mission? M SoCal residents have you ever visited a mission? Mission ⛪
Last week we visited our 3rd mission. This is taking it back to @oldmissionsb which we loved. My daughter was obsessed with learning about Karana from “Island of the Blue Dolphin” If your child is in 4th grade take them to check out a few missions. It’s a part of their curriculum and they can learn so much from the way the Spanish operated here in SoCal in the late 1700’s-1800’s. Of course not every detail of this settlement was positive, but it’s a great opportunity to have discussions and educate your children about the indigenous people and the Spanish settlers.
AND don’t forget 4th graders can get the national parks pass with Every Kid Outdoors. Link in stories.
