New Years Outfit Ideas

Hi Lovelies.  Happy Tuesday.  I’m loving this new schedule with two posts a week.  This week I’m sharing my New Years Outfit Ideas.  There is something for every occasion all the way from a fancy night out to a casual family New Years Party.  I chose to style the same $10 sweater three ways to create these new years looks.  This sweater is so cute, comfortable and perfect to wear with the extra lace detail.

Sometimes a family game night is the best way to ring in the new year.  So, why not keep it cozy and simple with this lace sweater and a pair of distressed jeans.  These jeans are straight leg and have just the perfect amount of stretch.  I have linked some similar ones down below because I picked these up at a local boutique.

A casual party with friends can still be a reason to dress up.  I chose these great Target find velvet pants to pair with the cream sweater for a great new years outfit.  I added the pop of color with a pair of cobalt flats I had.

This sweater paired perfectly with this sequined skirt for a great night out on the town.  You can also pair it with ankle boots if you live in the north east and have chilly weather at New Years.  It also layers well under a wool coat for the ultimate cold weather outfit.

Rare opportunity of an empty spot inside @disneyla Rare opportunity of an empty spot inside @disneyland and just wishing we could get a reservation to see the new Toontown
SoCal residents have you ever visited a mission? M SoCal residents have you ever visited a mission? Mission ⛪
Last week we visited our 3rd mission. This is taking it back to @oldmissionsb which we loved. My daughter was obsessed with learning about Karana from “Island of the Blue Dolphin” If your child is in 4th grade take them to check out a few missions. It’s a part of their curriculum and they can learn so much from the way the Spanish operated here in SoCal in the late 1700’s-1800’s. Of course not every detail of this settlement was positive, but it’s a great opportunity to have discussions and educate your children about the indigenous people and the Spanish settlers.
AND don’t forget 4th graders can get the national parks pass with Every Kid Outdoors. Link in stories.
