The Ultimate San Antonio Travel Guide

Spread the love

Hi Lovelies.  Happy Monday.  So, excited to share my San Antonio travel guide.  I loved this town.  It was such a cool place.  From the river, to the Alamo, and beautiful scenery all around.  Today, I am sharing all my favorite stops and favorite Vegan restaurants.

San Antonio Travel Guide – Places to Visit

Natural Bridge Wildlife Ranch

This place was amazing.  It is a drive thru animal park where you can feed the animals right from your window.  Be careful though because those animals will steal your food right out of your hands.  We watched the car in front of us lose all of their food to the ostriches. LOL.  Another car lost a bag to the zebras.

River Walk Tour

Such a touristy thing, but it’s a unique experience that you can’t just do anywhere.  Also, fun tip you can drink alcohol along the riverwalk you just can’t take it up to street level.

The Alamo

Obviously the Alamo needs to be a stop on your list.  We just did a quick walk through, but it’s a must.  A historical landmark that is worth showing your kids.

The Missions

You can check out all the missions in one trip.  Most are very close just a quick drive from each other.  I love the history and talking with the girls about how different life is.

San Antonio Travel Guide – Where to Eat

Viva Vegeria – Amazing vegan new mexican style food.  It was so good!  I wish we had a vegan restaurant like this in San Diego.  Their menu had every good mexican food item only 100% vegan and gluten free.

The Cove – This is a mix of vegan and omnivore.  So, it’s a perfect stop if your whole family isn’t vegan.

5 Points Local – Yoga and food in one building is my kind of place.  I didn’t get the chance to take a yoga class while we were in San Antonio.  But, the food at 5 point local was pretty dang good.  The granola the rise and shine bowl all so tasty.

Hope you guys enjoyed this San Antonio travel guide for families;  you can check off something for everyone. Let me know if I missed anything out!
