3 Spring Fashion Tips You NEED to Know

Hi Lovelies, bouncing back from this malware has been crazy tough.  I really lost a bit of motivation because it’s really depressing to see what people are capable of.  I just don’t understand why people find joy in destroying other peoples hard work.  They corrupted several files and I had to hire the most amazing web developer to fix it all. So thankful that I can finally get back to a normal routine.  Starting with today and these spring fashion tips featuring one of my favorite places to shop, Shopbop.  They are having a sale right now 20% off all orders under $200 and 25% off all orders over $500.  The sale runs until 4/14 and you can shop it here.

3 SPRING FASHION TIPS FOR THIS SEASON

Mules & Slingbacks

Mules and slingbacks are all the rage for spring.   Honestly, this is probably my favorite of these spring fashion tips.  I’m especially loving these deep V pointed toe shoes. The ease of getting them on and off and that they can easily go from day to night.

Florals & Pastels

Duh, florals and pastels for spring.  But, the cuts, styles and patterns this season are totally fab.  I’m loving the cold shoulder dresses, the wrap dresses, the matching cropped top and high wasted pants or skirts.  So, many cute ways to wear these trends.  Another one of these great spring fashion tips is to wear an oversized pastel sweater with cutoff shorts and pair of mules.

High Waisted Pants

High waisted trousers and jeans have been popular for sometime now.  Go for the high waisted, wide leg and cropped.  If you are worrying about your legs looking short, pair them with a heel to give you that lean leg.  Wear a fitted top, or cropped and show some skin. Another great option is pairing these pants with a deep v-neck or tied cropped top,  This helps to keep the bulk of the outfit down.

You can also see more spring fsahion tips here.  Be sure to check out the Shopbop sale.

Rare opportunity of an empty spot inside @disneyla Rare opportunity of an empty spot inside @disneyland and just wishing we could get a reservation to see the new Toontown
SoCal residents have you ever visited a mission? M SoCal residents have you ever visited a mission? Mission ⛪
Last week we visited our 3rd mission. This is taking it back to @oldmissionsb which we loved. My daughter was obsessed with learning about Karana from “Island of the Blue Dolphin” If your child is in 4th grade take them to check out a few missions. It’s a part of their curriculum and they can learn so much from the way the Spanish operated here in SoCal in the late 1700’s-1800’s. Of course not every detail of this settlement was positive, but it’s a great opportunity to have discussions and educate your children about the indigenous people and the Spanish settlers.
AND don’t forget 4th graders can get the national parks pass with Every Kid Outdoors. Link in stories.
