Style Saturday: Sweater And Hat

Spread the love

Hi Lovelies. It’s that time of the year where everything get’s crazy and there are so many events and tasks for us moms.  We have the elf, and christmas parties, then before we know it, our kids are home for two weeks.  Eek.  For today, I am sharing a casual outfit with a sweater and hat, because let’s be honest my schedule has been overwhelmingly busy and I just needed something comfy and cozy.

This was an easy outfit to wear to our local holiday festival “December Nights” at Balboa Park.  A sweater paired with this Scala Pronto Slouchy Beret.    This slouchy beret is perfect for the holidays.  It has an added sparkle and will keep you nice and warm. The band of the hat is nice and tight, so it really stays in place.  I love these kinds of hats for cold weather.

I wish we would have arrived earlier because I feel like we didn’t make the best of the event.  There is always next year.  They offer free admission to museums with fun holiday activities, including a meet and greet with The Grinch, a sneak peek at The Nutcracker (the girls loved this), and finally tons of vendors with great food.  We did skip the vendors to eat at The Prado.  It’s one of my faves.

Let’s get to the Style Saturday Link Up.  This week’s Style Saturday All Star is Sheree from Posh Classy Mom.  She rocked it in this monochromatic mini skirt and cashmere sweater.  If you don’t follow her, head over and check out her style.

  1. Megan you look so cozy and chic. I love beanies, berets and slouchy caps for Winter and am wearing a beanie in my latest post too. Love your long cardigan as well.

    Happy Saturday! Ada. =)

  2. That’s a great cardigan…so cozy looking and the beanie was the perfect finishing touch. If I can be honest, that elf makes me crazy! My daughter is 11, but she still believes (which I love), but I inevitably forget to move him! Just the other day I forgot, so daddy moved it when he got home from work. When we got home and she found him, I told her I had researched on Google and apparently the boy elves can be lazy slackers & sometimes don’t bother to move…she bought it. I used her overwhelming dislike of boys to my advantage…lol!
