Statement Pieces For Spring

Hi Lovelies. Happy Monday. I am so excited that this is the final countdown to Daylight Savings. I love the days staying lighter later. It’s like the best part about Spring. Today, is the first day of the BIG Shopbop Sale and I am sharing my Statement Pieces For Spring. Hurry over and shop because you can save up to 25% on top designers!

Currently, my favorite thing is finding statement pieces that can be worn different ways. I’m so tired of seeing the same looks and same pieces, styled on everyone. So, I am really working on finding all the fun pieces that you can style differently. Here are my top finds and all come in under $150. Most are even UNDER $100!!

I have included some of the popular spring trends including denim, animal print and shine. Be sure to look through the widget because there are some items that I did not include in the collage. These gold sneakers are perfect for a spring outfit and every day wear. Here are some of the statement trends you will want to try this season. Some of these trends were even popular in the Fall. You can see some ideas on how to style these trends here.

Statement Pieces For Spring

  1. Animal Print – Animal Prints are still sticking around for spring. If a leopard or zebra print dress is too much, go for an accessory. A pair of boots or a purse are a great way to add this trend into your wardrobe.
  2. Denim – All the denim. Denim dresses, overalls, denim jumpsuits. For spring you can even pull off a Canadian tuxedo.
  3. Floral – I know whenever I say florals for spring I think of The Devil Wears Prada. “Groundbreaking.” But, try mixing floral patterns, or florals with animal print. You could even try to treat your floral pattern as a neutral. Just be mindful of your color combinations and you will be good to go.
  4. Shine – Shiny pants too much for you? Keep it simple with sneakers or sandals. They can really go with anything and you are staying on trend.

Rare opportunity of an empty spot inside @disneyla Rare opportunity of an empty spot inside @disneyland and just wishing we could get a reservation to see the new Toontown
SoCal residents have you ever visited a mission? M SoCal residents have you ever visited a mission? Mission ⛪
Last week we visited our 3rd mission. This is taking it back to @oldmissionsb which we loved. My daughter was obsessed with learning about Karana from “Island of the Blue Dolphin” If your child is in 4th grade take them to check out a few missions. It’s a part of their curriculum and they can learn so much from the way the Spanish operated here in SoCal in the late 1700’s-1800’s. Of course not every detail of this settlement was positive, but it’s a great opportunity to have discussions and educate your children about the indigenous people and the Spanish settlers.
AND don’t forget 4th graders can get the national parks pass with Every Kid Outdoors. Link in stories.
