Hi Lovelies. As the years have gone by, I have realized I’m not that big on Valentine’s Day anymore. In fact, the last two years I haven’t even been with my husband on Valentine’s Day. We just realized this will be the first year we will be together and the conversation went something like this: “Hey, Babe I just realized we haven’t been together the last two years on Valentine’s Day. Maybe we should do something.” – Me “I didn’t even realize that either, yeah, I guess we should do something.” – Chase. We always exchange cards and gifts, but I don’t go all out like I do for Christmas.
Now, I don’t know about you, but I struggle with gifts for the hubs. So, I thought I would put together a list of things that are on my list for Valentine’s Day for my husband.

I am all for celebrating the ones we love, but I guess I just don’t understand the big emphasis on this one day a year. For so long, I bought into it and thought I always had to do something extravagant and special. In my old age, I would rather just celebrate on our anniversary and little mini celebrations on date nights throughout the year.
