Striped Sweater: The Weekly Style Edit

Thursday is here again my friends and it’s time for the linkup.  I am so ready for the weekend.  NYC was a blast, but coming back on Monday and right back to reality is rough.  This week for The Weekly Style Edit with Middle of Somewhere, we are sharing stripes.  I am styling this striped sweater.  I picked up this sweater from the Nordstrom Anniversary sale and just absolutely love it.  It was perfect for the rainy weather that hit NYFW.

I am really picky about sweaters, because I don’t like picky sweaters. LOL.  This striped sweater is so soft and I’m pretty sure every blogger purchased it and shared it when the sale was happening.  It is currently sold out, but I did link a very similar striped sweater.  The pants are Paige Denim from Nordstrom Rack and they are so comfortable.  A perfect pair of jeans for every day wear.

Rare opportunity of an empty spot inside @disneyla Rare opportunity of an empty spot inside @disneyland and just wishing we could get a reservation to see the new Toontown
SoCal residents have you ever visited a mission? M SoCal residents have you ever visited a mission? Mission ⛪
Last week we visited our 3rd mission. This is taking it back to @oldmissionsb which we loved. My daughter was obsessed with learning about Karana from “Island of the Blue Dolphin” If your child is in 4th grade take them to check out a few missions. It’s a part of their curriculum and they can learn so much from the way the Spanish operated here in SoCal in the late 1700’s-1800’s. Of course not every detail of this settlement was positive, but it’s a great opportunity to have discussions and educate your children about the indigenous people and the Spanish settlers.
AND don’t forget 4th graders can get the national parks pass with Every Kid Outdoors. Link in stories.
