Style Saturday: Bandage Skirt

Hi Lovelies.  At the moment, I am on vacation in Riviera Beach at the Marriott Vacation Club.  It has been an amazing trip until this afternoon, when they shut down the pool and the beach with a severe weather warning.  As the dark clouds and lightening roll in, we have curled up on the couch to watch a movie.  I decided now would be a great time to sit down and get to this post.  We have had the perfect trip, filled with swimming and beach walks.  We even threw in a trip to Disney World.  We got our princess fill.  Followed by a pirate ship treasure hunt on the Black Sparrow Pirate Adventure.  It has been a blast, but man it’s exhausting keeping up with the two kids.  Vacation mode for a 4 year old and 2 year old is go, go, go.  I get the statement a “vacation after your vacation”.  Us momma’s need it.

This Style Saturday features The Kewl Shop Bandage skirt that I styled for a dinner we had in Palm Beach. I love the fit of this skirt and the quality.  The skirt is very thick and very figure flattering.  I decided to go with a simple style.  This stylish mom doesn’t like to be in all fitted everything, so I balanced the fitted skirt with a loose fitting shirt.  I think this a good choice when dressing yourself in tight clothing.  It leaves a bit to the imagination and gives you a bit of allure and class.  The skirt is a great natural color and would be a great addition to almost anyone’s closet.  It would also be great piece for the holiday season.  It can be paired with most of the holiday colors.

If you are on the hunt for the skirt that will make you look fabulous, this is the skirt for you.  I feel like a million bucks in this bandage skirt.  Now, let’s get to the linkup.

This week, I am excited to have Sheree from Posh Classy Mom joining me as a co-host.  Head over, check out her blog and her fabulous style.  I love her most recent post This is 30+5, a beautiful red dress and a great dedication to her mom.  I love it.  Our Style Saturday All Star is…. Johanna from 101 Things I Love.  Her simple style with a black top and her rockstud pumps, with a pop of leopard is on point.  It’s a perfect casual date night outfit.

You’re so welcome! Thank you! I had to sneak the pina colada out of the bar area for this photo. Lol. I couldn’t resist though, beach vacation shoots have to have a pina colada in hand. 🙂 xo~ Megan

SoCal residents have you ever visited a mission? M SoCal residents have you ever visited a mission? Mission ⛪
Last week we visited our 3rd mission. This is taking it back to @oldmissionsb which we loved. My daughter was obsessed with learning about Karana from “Island of the Blue Dolphin” If your child is in 4th grade take them to check out a few missions. It’s a part of their curriculum and they can learn so much from the way the Spanish operated here in SoCal in the late 1700’s-1800’s. Of course not every detail of this settlement was positive, but it’s a great opportunity to have discussions and educate your children about the indigenous people and the Spanish settlers.
AND don’t forget 4th graders can get the national parks pass with Every Kid Outdoors. Link in stories.
