Sweater And Cutoffs

Hi Lovelies.  The family and I are trying to go out more doing little things here and there.  We made a trip up to Irvine Spectrum to check out the Hello Kitty pop-up.  It was crazy crowded, so we ended up picking up Casey’s Cupcakes.  Which are by far one of my new favorite cupcake stops.  I picked up a gluten free vegan chocolate cupcake that was to die for.  We spent the evening cruising around shopping, playing video games and eating dinner.  I love summers here.  Cool nights, let me share my personal style.  Which is layers and mixing different seasonal pieces, that I totally love.  I decided to pair my favorite lace detailed sweater and cutoffs.

If you live in the Southern California area, I definitely recommend checking out this center.  It’s the perfect outdoor California shopping experience.  We love getting lunch, playing at Dave and Busters and shopping.  They have something for everyone and every budget.

What do you love to do with your family in the evenings?  Are you the pizza and movie types?  Or is it date night?

Also, if you haven’t checked out the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale be sure to check out my two shopping guides for the sale,  Women and Men and Kids.  They have so many good finds.

Linking up with these lovely ladies.

I have to admit that this is the perfect combination for a summer outfit. Occasionally it is very warm during the day just to cool down at night. This gives the perfect balance in combination with killer shoes. So cute!

Rare opportunity of an empty spot inside @disneyla Rare opportunity of an empty spot inside @disneyland and just wishing we could get a reservation to see the new Toontown
SoCal residents have you ever visited a mission? M SoCal residents have you ever visited a mission? Mission ⛪
Last week we visited our 3rd mission. This is taking it back to @oldmissionsb which we loved. My daughter was obsessed with learning about Karana from “Island of the Blue Dolphin” If your child is in 4th grade take them to check out a few missions. It’s a part of their curriculum and they can learn so much from the way the Spanish operated here in SoCal in the late 1700’s-1800’s. Of course not every detail of this settlement was positive, but it’s a great opportunity to have discussions and educate your children about the indigenous people and the Spanish settlers.
AND don’t forget 4th graders can get the national parks pass with Every Kid Outdoors. Link in stories.
