The Best Travel Memory Keepsakes

Spread the love

Hi Lovelies and happy Monday. I had to take a short break, between work, sport and school activities for my kids it has been a long couple of weeks. But, I am back and today I am sharing The Best Travel Memory Keepsakes. We love to travel and we always love to have something to remember our trip by. We used to collect magnets and or snow globes, but the snow globes all ended up broken and the our fridge in our new home does not hold magnets. So, I thought this would be a great opportunity to share some of my other favorite items that help me keep track of all our travel memories.

A Travel Map

I ordered the most amazing travel map for our home from Fireflies Design. It allows me to put pins where we have traveled. Unfortunately, I was too scared that all of the kids would ruin it. So, I put the plexi glass back in and decided to use a permanent marker until the kids are old enough to know not to touch it. This is such a great way to display all of the spots you have travelled to. and it’s something you can also hang in your house as art work.

The Wander Club

The Wander Club sent me this amazing token collector key chain. I am in love with this perfect little display of travel destinations. You can collect the coins of states, countries, national parks put them all on this leather key ring. You can attach it to your key ring or keep it safe and display it at home. Mine will find it’s forever home in my office. I am just looking for the perfect way to display it.

Junior Ranger Badges

This is a great one for the kids, but can really only be done at national parks. They will receive a packet with questions that they can do as they travel through the parks. At the end they can turn it into receive their badge for completition. I love that they can learn about where they are and have a little fun doing it. The only down fall is in some of the big parks if you are in a hurry you may not be able to complete all of the questions.

Memory Books

This can come in many different forms. From a photo memory book (which we do by year), or an art memory book, or we also have a stamp book that allowa you to collect all of the stamps from the national parks. There are many different ways to create a memory book of your trips.
