Happy Friday. If you follow along on Instagram, you may have noticed I have been very MIA this week. A crazy sickness hit our house again. I decided to take that time to get more organized. I wrote out a schedule for all of February including social media. I’m so proud of myself. So, starting this weekend I am hoping to put it into action. It will be my redo for a new years because January turned into a hot mess. I got none of the things I wanted to get done. So, here’s to 2017 AGAIN. LOL. For The Weekly Style Edit, I am styling this floral purse with a denim on denim look.

This little fashion blogger loves wearing monochrome. I started this look with just the earrings, jeans and purse. I slowly started to add in the other blue pieces. Here are my tips for the monochrome look. You have two choices. Either wear the exact same color from head to toe. That means if you are wearing all black, they all need to match, unless it is distressed denim with a black top. The other option is what I have done here. Choose different shades of the same color. You don’t want to mix too many shades of one color. I think three to four shades is best. You don’t want it to be overwhelming. I also, love the denim on denim look, but I will get to that in another post down the road. Do you love wearing monochrome? Is it a trend you would try?
