Things To Do In SoCal This Holiday Season

Spread the love

Hi Lovelies. I am trying to get back on the blogging train, but it has been so hard. No reason to get dressed and no where to go. I thought it would be fun to share some Covid friendly holiday activities. I will be adding to this list as we try out more activities. So, please check back. These are my favorite things to do in SoCal this holiday season.

Things To In SoCal This Holiday Season: Los Angeles

Stranger Things

This is totally not holiday related, but we did this back in November and it was amazing. If you are a Stranger Things fan, this is a must see. It will take you about 45 minutes to complete and is well worth the money. Even the girls loved it and wanted to do it again.

Happy Place

If you visited the Happy Place Museum back in 2018 you will really appreciate their new drive thru experience. They have a lot of the same displays that you can stop and photograph. They have a drive thru dance party and the worlds largest piano you play with your car. My one complaint I really wish we could have stepped out of the car and taken photos. The displays are so cute and just aren’t as fun with no one in it. This does go fast, we were done in 20 minutes and I wish we would have taken more time. So slow down and enjoy each display.

Los Angeles also has some great light displays. You can check them all out here.

Disney

Disney is always on our list. This year is a little bit different. You can enjoy all of the holiday shopping in Downtown Disney and on Buena Vista Dr. in California Adventure. They do have some good photo opportunities with a Christmas tree display and the trolley decorated for the holidays. They are also offering 30% off most of their holiday decorations, clothing and accessories.

Mission Inn

We have not attended this yet, and I am hoping we can make it this year. They are recommending you make a reservation at the hotel to enjoy the lights. They will not allow patrons to walk around and enjoy the lights because of Covid-19. This is a must see every year. So, if you have the opportunity to stay and enjoy the lights, I recommend it.

Things To Do In SoCal This Holiday Season: San Diego

Del Mar Fairgrounds

I am so excited that Del Mar has brought back their drive thru holiday light display. We did this a long time ago when Lo was a baby. It was different this year, since it was sponsored by Subaru and a part of the Holidays In Your Car.

San Diegos Best Christmas Lights

You can check out this interactive map with all of the holiday light displays in San Diego. Some of our favorites are the Carlsbad Christmas house and Christmas Card Lane.
