The Fashionista Momma shares an under sea party with mermaids and turtles.

Under Sea Party

Spread the love

Cheers to Tuesday.  Today, I am sharing my daughters under sea party from back in November.  With all of the holiday madness, I thought I would save it for after the new year.  Of course my little nugget of joy couldn’t just choose one theme.  We had to have turtles and mermaids.  So, here is the ultimate Under Sea Party.

My plan was to master a mermaid cake and add scales myself, but as I always do with my girls parties I run out of time.  I really need to start ordering cookies and cupcakes from a vendor.  Instead of taking it all on myself.  There is always next time…

Under Sea Party Menu

Sea Turtle Cupcakes – I ordered cupcakes from Vons with blue frostin and used peach rings and mint leaves with black gel frosting to create turtles.

Oyster Cookies – Nilla wafers with pink frosting, a star tip and add a small pearl

Sea Shell Salad – Good ol’ Annie’s Mac & Cheese

Crab Legs and Sea Cucumbers – Serve them up some carrots and cucumbers

Starfish Peanut Butter and Jelly

Green Seaweed – Grapes on a wooden skewer

Craft

DIY Treasure Chest – treasure chests, paint, jewels and any other fun accessory to decorate a treasure chest.   I highly recommend creating a space for them to paint that will be easy to clean up.  We had these plastic table cloths and it was easy to wrap them and throw it all away.
