Valentine’s Outfit

Hi Lovelies.  Today, I am sharing this Valentine’s outfit that isn’t over the top red and pink.  I don’t know about you, but I personally don’t love the overkill Valentine’s Day looks.  I’m sure you have seen all the fashion bloggers rocking the holiday attire.  I think this was just enough for me.  I love the pops of pink and red to celebrate National Love Day.

If you live in Southern California, you have to check out my Valentine’s Date Ideas post.  There are so many fabulous places to visit everything from a day trip to weekend getaways.  My husband and I will be celebrating a little late as I will just be getting home from New York for NYFW.  Be sure to follow along on Instagram for all of the fun east coast adventures.

Fun accessories are my fave.  So, these bow accent heels are the perfect girly touch to any outfit.  A bold accessory definitely needs to stand on it’s own.  Be sure to keep the rest of your look simple.

Rare opportunity of an empty spot inside @disneyla Rare opportunity of an empty spot inside @disneyland and just wishing we could get a reservation to see the new Toontown
SoCal residents have you ever visited a mission? M SoCal residents have you ever visited a mission? Mission ⛪
Last week we visited our 3rd mission. This is taking it back to @oldmissionsb which we loved. My daughter was obsessed with learning about Karana from “Island of the Blue Dolphin” If your child is in 4th grade take them to check out a few missions. It’s a part of their curriculum and they can learn so much from the way the Spanish operated here in SoCal in the late 1700’s-1800’s. Of course not every detail of this settlement was positive, but it’s a great opportunity to have discussions and educate your children about the indigenous people and the Spanish settlers.
AND don’t forget 4th graders can get the national parks pass with Every Kid Outdoors. Link in stories.
