Vest And Shorts

Hi Lovelies.  If you didn’t know, I am a little obsessed with vests.  I have had this black vest and have been dying to style it for spring.  We were going to church a few weeks ago and I thought this would be the perfect time to pull out the vest.  This look would also be perfect for a Sunday brunch.  I wore this vest and shorts, with a printed top and my fave new pair of heels. The best part, on the way home from church we were looking for a great spot to take some pictures and I spotted a lush little courtyard in the business district.  Turns out, it has a pretty awesome koi pond with a little mini waterfall.  The girls were in heaven.  The perfect place for photos.  The kids stay busy and the hubs and this stylish mom get to shoot away.

Rare opportunity of an empty spot inside @disneyla Rare opportunity of an empty spot inside @disneyland and just wishing we could get a reservation to see the new Toontown
SoCal residents have you ever visited a mission? M SoCal residents have you ever visited a mission? Mission ⛪
Last week we visited our 3rd mission. This is taking it back to @oldmissionsb which we loved. My daughter was obsessed with learning about Karana from “Island of the Blue Dolphin” If your child is in 4th grade take them to check out a few missions. It’s a part of their curriculum and they can learn so much from the way the Spanish operated here in SoCal in the late 1700’s-1800’s. Of course not every detail of this settlement was positive, but it’s a great opportunity to have discussions and educate your children about the indigenous people and the Spanish settlers.
AND don’t forget 4th graders can get the national parks pass with Every Kid Outdoors. Link in stories.
