10 Unique Things To Do During Social Distancing

10 Unique Things To Do During Social Distancing featured by popular US Lifestyle Blogger; woman with books and videos

Hi Lovelies. So here we are, three days in to Social Distancing. I have been desperately trying to decide what to do with all of our time. So, today I decided to come with a post with 10 Unique Things To Do During Social Distancing.

10 Unique Things To Do During Social Distancing featured by popular US Lifestyle Blogger; woman with books and videos

1. Start A Blog

Have you been wanting to start a blog? Why not now? Sit down learn all the ins and outs for blogging. I have a great post here that will help you Start A Fashion Blog.

2. Spring Clean Early

Marie Kondo your house. Start with your closet and move through your house and do one to two rooms a week. By the time social distancing is over, your house will be spring cleaned and fabulous.

3. Learn Some New Hairstyles

Why not learn some new braid styles? One of my favorites I learned from a hair and makeup artist is the figure 8 braid. Start with Dutch Braids or just good old french braids if you don’t know those. You can have so much fun styling your hair for summer.

4. Learn A Language

I have always wanted to learn French. So I think I am going to order Rosetta Stone and learn as much French as I can. I mean why not?

5. Learn TikTok

I have seen so many people wanting to learn TikTok. Have some fun try one of the many TikTok challenges. Bring in the whole family and make it fun! You can follow my new adventures @fashionistamomma on TikTok.

6. Read

It is definitely a good idea to have some books on hand for the whole family. Reading is so important for kids, so making sure that you have book options is key. Make sure that time to read is something is on your schedule.

7. Binge Watch

I like to fill my evenings with Binge Watching some of my favorite shows. With Netflix, Prime Video and Apple TV the video options are endless.

8. Train For A Race

Since getting outside is still an option for now, why not take on training for a race. Even if you have never run, start with a 5k pick something in fall, because who knows when we will be able to get out again pick a race that doesn’t risk getting re-scheduled.

9. Enjoy Online Workouts

There are a ton of options. Even my yoga studio, Peace Love And Yoga, is going to be offering online classes soon. Exercising is one of the best ways to release stress. Even if you workout for 30 minutes a day, you will help your physical body and mental health.

10. Teach Yourself Cake Decorating

This is one of my favorite things to do! So order some online cake decorating equipment and teach yourself how to decorate cakes and cupcakes. Wilton has a great Cake Decorating starter kit that has instructions on how to start. You can find it here.

Bonus: Educational Ideas For Kids

If you are like most families who are currently working from home with kids now homeschooling Kids Activities Blog has shared a ton of free educational resources. We also have picked up our favorite Brain Quest books to continue some fun learning while the girls are home.

Have you been to Ensenada? What’s your favorite spots? We had a great time on our Ensenada excursion on our Carnival cruise. Including rain, pina coladas, La Bufadora and wine tasting at Santa Tomas winery. If you are in SoCal I recommend making your own way across the border to Ensenada.
