6 Tips For A Stylish Pregnancy

Hi Lovelies.  I’m starting this post with NO I am not pregnant and I will never be pregnant again, but we can save that talk for another day.  Today’s post, is all about styling your baby bump and my 6 tips for a stylish pregnancy.  If you are looking for some great postpartum tips check out my 5 Fashion Tips for Postpartum.

Size Up

You can still shop at all of your favorite stores for your maternity wear, just size up.  Check out Marshall’s, TJ Maxx and Ross for great prices on items a few sizes bigger to help get you through the next 5 months.  This dress was from H&M and I just sized up 2 sizes and it was perfect.

Leggings

Leggings, who doesn’t love a great pair of leggings?  You can pair your leggings with any tunic, cardigan or kimono.  Every pregnant woman should own a fabulous pair.  The great thing about leggings, you will still get to wear them post pregnancy.

Maxi Everything

Maxi skirts and maxi dresses are the perfect way to dress your baby bump.  If you are pregnant in the cold months you can pair them with ankle booties.  During the warmer months try a pair of gladiator sandals and tie the skirt on one side, this is a fun way to change up your skirt or dress.

Waist Expanders

If you can still fit in your jeans, but just need room for the baby bump, waist expanders are the best.  These fancy little gadgets allow you up to two inches of extra room around the waist line.

Open Tops

Think kimonos, cardigans, and capes.  All are open tops that you can easily drape over your shoulders and have a stylish baby bump.  It doesn’t take maternity clothes to look great.  You can make your current wardrobe work for you by just adding an extra layer.

Cami Tanks

JORD Watch1

Nordstrom has one of my fave long camisole tanks.  As does H&M.  So depending on your budget, you can pick up a couple camisole tanks and be ready to go.  You can pair your cami with one of your open tops and accessorize with a scarf or a statement necklace.  It’s easy peasy and will give you a look that you will be comfortable in all day.

Follow these 6 tips and you will be one stylish hot momma without breaking the bank.  What are your tips to getting the most of your wardrobe while pregnant?

Have you been to Ensenada? What’s your favorite spots? We had a great time on our Ensenada excursion on our Carnival cruise. Including rain, pina coladas, La Bufadora and wine tasting at Santa Tomas winery. If you are in SoCal I recommend making your own way across the border to Ensenada.
