Black Military Boots: The Weekly Style Edit

Hi Lovelies.  The Weekly Style Edit with Lindsay Rutland is live today and I’m sharing my current favorite pair of boots.  These military boots from Zara are my jam.  Because I love all things girly and leather mixed, I paired them with this floral dress.  I wear these boots all the time with jeans, but had to mix it up for todays post.  I really wanted to put my leather jacket over this look, but I left at a restaurant a few weeks ago and it never made it’s way home.  So, the teddy bear coat will have to do.

This look would be great for a casual date night or shopping day with friends.  You can always swap out the boots for a good old pair of ankle boots and the look would still be cute!

So cute! My favorite pair of boots I own are combat boots by Sofft. Love those and especially with the feminine dress and coat.

Rare opportunity of an empty spot inside @disneyla Rare opportunity of an empty spot inside @disneyland and just wishing we could get a reservation to see the new Toontown
SoCal residents have you ever visited a mission? M SoCal residents have you ever visited a mission? Mission ⛪
Last week we visited our 3rd mission. This is taking it back to @oldmissionsb which we loved. My daughter was obsessed with learning about Karana from “Island of the Blue Dolphin” If your child is in 4th grade take them to check out a few missions. It’s a part of their curriculum and they can learn so much from the way the Spanish operated here in SoCal in the late 1700’s-1800’s. Of course not every detail of this settlement was positive, but it’s a great opportunity to have discussions and educate your children about the indigenous people and the Spanish settlers.
AND don’t forget 4th graders can get the national parks pass with Every Kid Outdoors. Link in stories.
