Family Photo Style
The holidays are here with Thanksgiving just a week away. I am so excited. Before we get to my holiday card style, I wanted to talk about holiday posts. I have seen so many bloggers getting their Christmas posts up and putting up their Christmas decor. I just wanted to address this. I love Thanksgiving and what it stands for. Friends and family coming together to celebrate and spend time together. With that said, you will not see Christmas around here until after Thanksgiving. Christmas does not go up in our house until the day after Thanksgiving and that is what you will see. I am not saying this to argue with other bloggers and I am definitely not saying they are wrong for doing this. To each her own and this is just where I stand. Now, I will share holiday outfits because we all have parties during this season and outfits are always good. Right?
Last week, I realized it was time to get our family photos done. I started getting our looks together and got our photos done this past weekend. We decided to go with a neutral color pallete with cream, and champagne. I just love this soft color combination for our Christmas card. For our cards I picked out a gorgeous card from Minted. The simple look and bit of sparkle on the Multi Merryxmas Foil-Pressed Holiday Card is a perfect pair with our outfits.
I am just sharing my full look today. I want our Christmas cards to arrive to our friends and family as a surprise. These days with social media, it’s so easy to share all of our photos and ruin the holiday cards. So, here is my holiday card style.
