Super Fun Glamping Ideas

Hi Lovelies.  Finally, getting around to putting up our spring break camping trip.  I am proud of myself for giving camping a try.  But, I have to say, camping is not for me.  Even with all of my glamping ideas and supplies, I just don’t see myself camping on a regular basis.  There is so much dirt.  LOL.  Your feet are dirty, The tent is dirty.  Why is there so much dirt? Plus, you spend so much time getting ready to leave.  Then you spend so much time setting up camp and then you spend so much time breaking it down.  I could just pack my bag and go check in to a hotel.  Just sayin’.

I will say this glamping ideas post was a blast.  It was fun designing this whole thing.  It turned out very cute.  The yurt was huge inside and fit all 4 of us with plenty of space to move around.  We added some battery powered twinkle lights around the frame.  I tried to snap a photo, but it didn’t turn out very well.  The light on the table was so cute and gave off specks of light.  I do love the thought of camping.  It’s so fun creating these cozy spaces and making memories.

We brought a washer game, the girls rode their bikes, we took the boat out.  Who knows, maybe if we travel to a far less dusty place, I will love it.  I am going to give it one more shot, mostly because I think I want to add to my glamping post. LOL.  I do like the clean lines and simple decor, I’m definitely a minimalist in that sense.   I do want to add to the yurt for our next adventure.

Lol….I’m cracking up about all the dirt! I don’t think I could handle that either. You did a great job glamping it up though!

Rare opportunity of an empty spot inside @disneyla Rare opportunity of an empty spot inside @disneyland and just wishing we could get a reservation to see the new Toontown
SoCal residents have you ever visited a mission? M SoCal residents have you ever visited a mission? Mission ⛪
Last week we visited our 3rd mission. This is taking it back to @oldmissionsb which we loved. My daughter was obsessed with learning about Karana from “Island of the Blue Dolphin” If your child is in 4th grade take them to check out a few missions. It’s a part of their curriculum and they can learn so much from the way the Spanish operated here in SoCal in the late 1700’s-1800’s. Of course not every detail of this settlement was positive, but it’s a great opportunity to have discussions and educate your children about the indigenous people and the Spanish settlers.
AND don’t forget 4th graders can get the national parks pass with Every Kid Outdoors. Link in stories.
