Local Love: 5 Best Things To Do In Orange County with kids this spring
Hi Lovelies and Happy Wednesday. Spring is almost here and today I wanted to share the 5 Best Things To Do In Orange County With Kids This Spring. This list really could be much longer, but these are our favorite spots to hit in Orange County.
Balboa Island
I have been going to Balboa Island since I was kid. There are a ton of cute shops you can hit, you can rent a bike, walk along the beach and finish off with a tasty lunch at one of the local spots.
Downtown Disney
If you have been following me for awhile, you know we are big Disney fans in this house. So, of course Disney had to make this list. Starting March 18th they will have the taste of Disney in California Adventure, but with our covid cases starting to dwindle, things are starting to open. So, hopefully Disney will be opening soon and we will be able to enjoy some rides and more of the parks.
Mission San Juan Capistrano
The only mission in Orange County and surrounded by a cute downtown area. Mission San Juan Capistrano is a must stop. Grab lunch at one of our favorite restaurants Trevor’s at the Tracks, check out Zoomars for all the animals and then do dessert at 3:16 Bake Shop. There is plenty to do in just a few short blocks.
Dana Point Tide Pools
This one takes some planning because you want to make sure that you make it at low tide and when there is nice weather. You can find the Dana Point Tide Pools at Harbor Point Conservation Park just passed the Ocean Institute.
Whale Watching
Take a nice whale watching boat ride out of Dana Point. You could even combine this with the tide pools if you plan it right. There are a ton of companies to choose from, but here are a few options that we love. Dana Wharf and Newport Whales.
