Hi Lovelies. I don’t know about you, but I feel like Christmas is going to be here before we know it. Time is flying by at lightening speed. I just can’t even keep up. Last week, I attended several events in LA it was crazy busy as always. I had a ton of work, but somehow managed to squeeze in a quick date night with the hubs. I wore this off shoulder sweater and leather shorts.

I wanted to style this off shoulder sweater with these shorts the second I picked it up. I have been waiting for the temperature to cool off just, so I could wear this. This date night was the perfect time. As always we just did dinner at one of our favorite local restaurants in downtown Carlsbad and hung out. We aren’t that exciting anymore. We are both so busy these days, that when it comes to time together we want to take it easy. We also put our alone time last because we both really want to spend time together as a family.
If you follow along you have heard my stories of meeting in parking structures to swap kids and car seats. It’s so true. Most days we are hugging as one walks and the other walks out. I am so thankful for how busy we both are, but it can really take a toll on our relationship. I feel like we get snippy with each other and the girls. It leaves me sad and wanting change. I am trying to be better with schedules and plans, but all of us moms know schedules and plans are so hard. Every day something gets thrown at us that messes up our “plan.” So, I am going to start with being better at scheduling time with my husband.
I want to liven up our date night ideas these days. I am going to put my creative brain to work and come up with unique and fun date night ideas. So, be sure to check back because once I get our list together, you know I will be sharing. I’m thinking it needs to include at home ideas and fun local places to try out for those times we actually can get out of the house together. Do you have any unique date night ideas?
