Printed Rain Boots And A Skirt
Hi Lovelies. It’s been complete madness in our house. We are going on week 6 of sick kids. I thought we would be ok when my younger one passed what she had, only to wake up this am to my older daughter sniffling, sneezing and coughing like crazy. I can’t stand it any longer. I am going to the health food store and buying every immunity boosting product I can find. Any you recommend? I want to be done with this once and for all.
Thank goodness during this last little round of sickness it was rainy outside. It makes me feel better about lying around when the it’s ugly out. I did have to run some errands while the it was raining, so I decided to throw on these fun new printed rain boots and a skirt. These Western Chief boots are the perfect way to brighten a dreary day.
I styled the boots with this skirt and a cardigan. It worked perfectly for the little bursts of sun in between the rain. I added another print with the scarf. I am kind of obsessed with pattern mixing these days. One little tip when mixing patterns pick colors in a similar palette. The colors in this scarf and the boots are both clear, crisp bright colors. So they work perfectly together. You can see more pattern mixing here.

I’m so excited to have teamed up with Western Chief to giveaway a pair of rain boots. Enter below for a chance to win your very own pair. If you win how would you style the boots? Or what are you go to when wearing rain boots? Are you a jeans and sweater kind of girl? Or dress and skirt kind of lady?
Linking up with these lovely ladies.
*Although product was provided, all opinions are my own.
I would probably wear the boots with leggings or a skirt. With leggings maybe a long sleeveless vest. I love how you’ve styled them.
Thank you so much. Leggings and rain boots is always a great go-to option. xo~ Megan

Really Marta? Oh no. Thank goodness, the hubs and I have managed to not get sick. I couldn’t imagine trying to take care of these two if I was sick. 🙁 I hope everyone is better soon. xo ~ Megan
Love those boots!!!
Thank you Stephanie!! xo ~ Megan

Thank you so much Jennie! xo ~ Megan
First of all, poor you, Megan!! Poor family. Six weeks of sneezes and coughs and petulance is no fun for anyone so big hugs!! It feels also trivial to mention how pretty your cardigan/sweater thingy is and how fun those rainboots are but they are xoxo

You are so sweet! Thank you. It’s not fun. It’s crazy how long these little ones go being sick. So thankful, it’s finally over. xo ~ Megan
OMG, I hope by now your sweet princesses are both well and healthy. Secondly, despite the rain, you are a burst of color and beauty in this outfit. I love the boots, scarf and your arm party. Too bad I missed out on this giveaway.
