Pumpkin Picking In Style

I hope you all are having a good week.  The Halloween countdown continues two more days.  This past weekend my little family went to pick out our pumpkin.  This is what I wore for our day out in the country.  I had to throw some plaid on and obviously over the knee boots.

This was our little lemur friend we made.  I wish we would have caught on camera the first visit he made. The girls ran so fast.  It was hilarious.

Rare opportunity of an empty spot inside @disneyla Rare opportunity of an empty spot inside @disneyland and just wishing we could get a reservation to see the new Toontown
SoCal residents have you ever visited a mission? M SoCal residents have you ever visited a mission? Mission ⛪
Last week we visited our 3rd mission. This is taking it back to @oldmissionsb which we loved. My daughter was obsessed with learning about Karana from ā€œIsland of the Blue Dolphinā€ If your child is in 4th grade take them to check out a few missions. It’s a part of their curriculum and they can learn so much from the way the Spanish operated here in SoCal in the late 1700’s-1800’s. Of course not every detail of this settlement was positive, but it’s a great opportunity to have discussions and educate your children about the indigenous people and the Spanish settlers.
AND don’t forget 4th graders can get the national parks pass with Every Kid Outdoors. Link in stories.
