3 Perfect Sunglasses For An Inverted Triangle Face Shape

Spread the love

Happy Wednesday.  We are loving every minute here in Cabo and it’s so nice to be with my family and not working like a mad woman.  I’m sneaking this post in when my girls go to sleep and trying to do as little as possible and really spend time with my girls before they go back to school.  I’m continuing the sunglass series this week with 3 perfect sunglasses for an inverted triangle face shape.

The Best Sunglasses for an Inverted Triangle Face Shape

An inverted triangle face shape is widest across the cheekbones and narrows through the chin.  So, you always want to keep your frames simple and try to find a pair that draw the eye downward.

Metal Frames

Keeping your glasses light and simple are key to a heart shaped face.  If you choose a metal frame be sure that the frame does not extend too far past your temples and avoid details that draw the eye upward.  This includes a frame that has a bold detail on the top half of the frame.

Frameless

A frameless pair of sunglasses may be hard to come by, but if you can find them these are a great choice.  Typically, the arms will be light and there may be little to no detail around the lens.  You can even pair your look with a bold lip color to draw the eye downward.

Ombre Or Details On The Bottom

With the widest point of your face being at your cheekbones, you want to draw the eye downward.  So, details that include a fade, or a pattern change are always a great choice.  A dramatic detail on the lower half of the frame are all excellent choices.
