The Perfect Black Midi Dress For Opening Day

Hi Lovelies,  as always if you follow along on Instagram you saw our family adventures at Opening Day at Del Mar Thoroughbred Club.  We had a blast.  The girls and I made our own Fascinators that I will be sharing a DIY for next week.   They were a big hit.  The girls got a ton of compliments on there super cute matching outfits and hats.  We decided to enter the hat contest for the best fascinator.  We didn’t win, but the girls are already planning our hats for next year.

I loved bringing the girls to opening day.  They were so excited and loved seeing all of the hats and watching the races.  I think it will be our new tradition to do opening day as a family.  We had matching outfits that included their striped dresses and my Target black dress.  I hope you were able to shop the big Target sale on Tuesday.  I got this black midi dress for $12!!! Seriously such a great deal.  This black dress will easily transfer into fall and could be a great dress for a holiday party.

  Do you see the attitude, from my youngest?  I can’t even with her.  She has such an opinion on her clothes, what she is doing, well basically everything.  Trying to find these outfits was nearly impossible. I love all these cute mommy and me bloggers and wish I could get my girls to dress up like that.

Most of the time we sit and argue in stores over what they want to wear and what I want to wear.  I finally, picked this black midi dress because I gave up on all the things. LOL.  I wasn’t going to win.  The best thing I got was that they weren’t  wearing unicorn dresses with sequins.
