Valentine’s Date Ideas

Hi Lovelies.  Valentine’s Day is just around the corner.  How do you plan on spending the holiday with your spouse? I will be just getting home from NYFW, so we will be celebrating the following week by  going to Glen Ivy Hot Springs for a day date.  I am so excited and can’t wait.  Today, I want to share some of my Valentine’s date ideas in southern California with all of you.

The perfect Valentine's date ideas in southern California.

Glen Ivy Hot Springs

The perfect date idea is to visit Glen Ivy Hot Springs.  This is our adventure for this year and I am so excited.  I have heard so many great things about this spa.  You can book a spa treatment, grotto treatment, and grab a kale and quinoa salad at the Ivy Kitchen.

Wine Country

Another fun option would be to head to Temecula Wine Country.  You can grab lunch at Avensole or one of the other fabulous restaurants and do a few wine tastings.  This is one of my favorite ways to spend my free time.  Wine Country is beautiful and there are so many fantastic wineries with everything you could ever want from champagne to red wine.

Balboa Park

Balboa Park is beautiful this time of year.  It’s not too hot and there ares so many museums you can check out.  If you go on a Tuesday and you are a southern California local you get free admission to specific museums.  So, you can always celebrate a day early and save some money.  Grab lunch at Prado and pick a museum that you normally don’t want to visit with your littles.

Pisco

Pisco is a new peruvian restaurant in Carlsbad.  We just had dinner there a week ago.  The food was amazing and the drinks were so good.  Definitely a great place to try for your Valentine’s Day dinner reservations.  They have a wide variety of ceviche and for the vegetarians their quinoa chaufa is on point.

Peace Love & Yoga

So, if you don’t know already I teach hot yoga at Peace Love & Yoga in Carlsbad.  I love my yoga family here and I definitely recommend a nice yoga class with your loved one followed by a smoothie or light lunch at Naked Cafe down in Carlsbad Village.  Getting physical is such a great way to spend time with your spouse.

Palm Springs

Take a trip to Palm Springs.  The drive is always pleasant and there are so many wonderful accommodations.  You can take a spa getaway, enjoy hikes, the shopping in palm dessert.  I recommend the Marriott Renaissance Hotel Palm Springs for the Couples Getaway.  You will be greeted with champagne and can enjoy your quality time.

Surprise your spouse with the perfect Valentine’s date ideas in Southern California.  You can create the ideal evening filled with quality time and lots of love.

Have you been to Ensenada? What’s your favorite spots? We had a great time on our Ensenada excursion on our Carnival cruise. Including rain, pina coladas, La Bufadora and wine tasting at Santa Tomas winery. If you are in SoCal I recommend making your own way across the border to Ensenada.
